Composition and pharmacological properties:

10.0 g collar (polychlor vinyl tape) contains an active ingredient: propoxur - 0.85 g ± 10%.

АТС vet QP53A, ectoparasitic drugs of local application (QP53AЕ02, propoxur).

An active substance of propoxur effects on ectoparasites as a contact poison, occurring toxic accumulation of neurohormone acetylcholine on cholinergic nerve endings, resulting to death of ectoparasites (fleas, ticks, lice, and others). Propoxur is non-toxic for mammals.

Indications

Prevention and treatment of dogs and cats affected by ectoparasites: fleas (Ctenocephalides spp., Pulex irritans), chewing louses (Trichodectes canis, Felicola subrostratus), lice (Linognathus setosus), parasite-forming mites (Ixodes spp., Hyalomma spp., Dermacentor spp., Haemaphysalis spp., Rhipicephalus spp.) on imaginal and larva stages of development.

Dosage and Administration

The collar of 70 ± 5 cm is for large dogs.

The collar of 35 ± 5 cm is for small dogs and cats.

Remove collar from package and put onto animal neck, fix and leave a space between the neck and collar. The collar should be fixed loosely on the neck and not prevent animal growth. Properly fixed and adjusted collar should move freely.

Collar permanent use promotes to protect animals of fleas to 5 months, and ticks - to 10 weeks.

The collar effectiveness and protection duration depends on coat length and condition, type of pathogen and infestation intensity. Animals with dirty and dishevelled coat is recommended to wash with shampoo before the collar application.

Contraindications

Do not apply to puppies and kittens under 12 weeks.

Do not apply to sick and weaken animals, as well to animals, sensitive to product ingredients.

Do not apply to animals with skin diseases and injured skin.

Do not apply to females during pregnancy and lactation.
