Description
Tablets of light yellow to yellow colour with a specific odour.
Composition and pharmacological properties
1 tablet (0.5 g) contains an active ingredients: praziquantel – 50±5 mg, pyrantel pamoate - 150±5 mg. Excipients: lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, calcium stearate, sodium chloride, flavouring "meat", povidone K-30, potato starch.
Active ingredients combination provides synergistic effect of the drug against round and tape helminths at all stages of development.
The mechanism of praziquantel and pyrantel pamoate action is based on inhibition of neuromuscular activity and disruption of energy metabolism, that give a rise to paralysis and helminths death with subsequent withdrawal from gastrointestinal tract.
Indications
Preventive deworming treatment:
dogs in cestodiasis (Taenia spp., Dipylidium caninum, Echinococcus granulosus, T. hydatigera, Multiceps multicept and other), nematodiasis ( Ancylostoma caninum, Ucinaria stenocephala, Toxocara canis, Toxocaris leonina);
cats in cestodiasis (hydatigera taeiniaeformis, Dipylidum caninum, Taenia pisiformis, Echinococcus granulosus, E. multilocularis), nematodiiasis (Ancylostoma caninum, Ucinaria stenocephala, Toxocara mystax).

Dosage and Administration
The drug is administrated individually once with small amount of feed (sausage, meat, farce, porridge) in shredded shape or forcibly per oral on a tongue root in doses:

Preliminary strict diet and administration of laxatives are not required.
Recommended to repeat anthelminthic treatment after 10 days in case of strong invasion.
Preventive deworming is carried once in a quarter.
Contraindications
Do not administrate to females in the first half of pregnancy. Anthelminthic treatment of pregnant and lactating females is carried out after consulting with veterinarian, 3 weeks before delivery and 2-3 weeks after delivery, in requirement.
Do not administrate to puppies and kittens under 3 weeks age.
Do not administrate to sick and weaken animals.
Do not use together with piperazine and medicines that inhibits cholinestrase.
