On July 8, 2025, the Ukrainian pet-products manufacturer Priroda donated around thirty multi-tier scratching complexes to the municipal Animal Care Center in Kharkiv. The charitable action was carried out with the support of volunteer Maryna Sutyrina and the FRENCH_BULLDOG_KHARKIV initiative.
The structures, equipped with resting shelves and jute-wrapped posts, will help the shelter’s cats satisfy their natural need to sharpen their claws, reduce stress, and stay physically active. The company explains that it seeks to improve conditions for homeless animals in a city that continues to suffer from shelling.
“We are grateful to the Center’s staff for their daily dedication. We hope the new scratchers will speed up the cats’ adaptation and bring them closer to finding new homes,” Priroda stated.
This is not the brand’s first charitable initiative: the company regularly supports shelters and volunteer organizations across Ukraine, underscoring its social responsibility during wartime.
