Mineral "Citrus"

Calcium and other minerals act as gizzard stones (gastroliths) that fragment and grind up food in the bird’s muscular stomach. The mineral boosts your parrot’s digestive system and is a source of essential macro- and microelements. They are needed for the formation of egg shells, bones, and attachment of feathers, normal growth and development of cage birds. The mineral should be kept in the cage as it must be always present in the bird's stomach. Dehydrated pieces of citrus fruits are an appealing flavour supplement for the birds as well as a source of carbohydrates and pectin. The birds also need the mineral block to grind and clean their beaks.
